I'm always more than happy to accept contributions from users and other developers.

If you're interested in just helping out for the fun (or gratification) of it, please check out the Pending Features page for a list of places where help is needed. You can also look through the Open Tickets for things that are being worked on or have been planned.

I always am in need of testers. Due to resources and time, I've only tested PHP EMS Tools with Linux (openSuSE), Apache2, and MySQL 4-5. It has also been tested on Ubuntu. While I'd like to test it on other Unix-based based operating systems, I'm very interested in getting people to test with other web servers and on different OS's, especially Windows (ugh.) and Mac.

If you're not into coding, you can feel free to visit the Bug Tracking page and suggest some features.

If you're more of an independent type, feel free to submit a feature or bug patch. Please include your name and organization affiliation (if applicable), and your email address and/or web site if you'd like to be listed in the credits. In terms of submissions, it would make everything much easier if you include with your submission:

  • a description of what the patch does and how critical it is
  • a list of the effected files
  • which version you patched against - specifically, which release or (if taken directly from CVS) the date and time that you checked out the sources.
  • patch files in unified diff format
  • copies of the *full* patched files
